I Will Be Taking the IELTS Exam

As I have said earlier, Fritz took his IELTS General Training exam last November 19 & 20, 2016 whuch was conducted by the British Council. The result was rolled out in their website exactly after thirteen days, in the afternoon of December 2, 2016. And we recieved the hardcopy of the result the following day, December 3, 2016 thru LBC at my office since it is where the mailing address registered.

Anyways, eventhough Fritz' score is more than the cut off of band score of six but if we compute his total score he won't qualify in other Provinces. So he urges me to take an exam and it was only last January 7, 2017 that we finally decided.

The most interesting point was he wants me to take the January 21 schedule. I contest that I will take the February schedule but his premise was it might be too late. There might be some opportunities that we might miss. So I agreed. It was just in time because the deadline of the registration was January 8, 2017.

 I thought I won't able to take the exam as scheduled because I can't successfully pay thru online my examination fee. We made several attempts but to no avail. To think that we used the same credit card with Fritz'. I also tried to use another credit card but still can't get through. I don' t know what happen. Fritz even called the British Council office in Manila and according to them I still have until noon of January 9, 2017 to pay but still unsuccessfull. I was already hopeless but Fritz was still determined.

He checked with the IDP and voila! They still accepts examinees and he was able to register me without any hassle. It was a blessing in disguise that I wasn' t able to register with the British Coubcil because we're able to save with the IDP. In BC it cost Php9,800 while in IDP it's only Php9,300. That slot was really for me because when Fritz check again after he successfully register me, it was already full.
